Higher Order Thinking Questions to Ask When Your Child is Reading
We compare the different boxes (Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Create) like we would a cellphone. The more bars next to the word (below), the stronger the comprehension will be. Just like a cellphone, the more bars the stronger the service. We want to really engage the student with the stronger bars, however, we don't want to completely forget about the weaker bars in the process.
